| Students wishing to pursue a
musical theatre career require a combined training
of dance, drama and singing with strong emphasis
on theatrical repertoire.
These classes will enable the student to have
the wide ranging skills essential in this competitive
field, including classes to prepare for auditions.
Professional cabaret work offers students many
opportunities to develop their individual talents
whilst working towards membership of Equity. College
productions provide students with invaluable performance
and production skills.
Singing, harmony, sight reading, music theory,
music appreciation, voice production and microphone
technique are taught to the highest professional
standard and individual singing coaching is also
available.
Drama students study both classical and contemporary
authors and develop the wide range of skills required
by today’s performers.
Workshops involving all aspects of the theatre
including make-up, design and stage management,
broaden the students’ understanding of the
theatre. Professionals from the theatre, including
dancers, choreographers and actors, guest on a
regular basis.
