The basis of great jazz and tap is a sound technique coupled with the opportunity to develop one’s individual style.

Many styles of jazz and tap are studied with staff who were former professional West End PERFORMERS/CHOREOGRAPHERS. Guest teachers visit on a regular basis bringing current trends and styles. Jazz/Tap repertoire is an important element of this training

The course offers a strong foundation for the type of jazz and tap now required by leading choreographers. Students have opportunities to develop their own creativity working alongside staff for professional productions.

Major and FDI Examinations of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, are an option for all students.
