Miss Sophie Robinson ARAD, AISTD

Sophie was accepted into the Royal Ballet School
at the age of 11 and continued to train classically
before graduating from the London Studio Centre.
She has worked worldwide, appearing in various
shows and pantomimes and the Royal Ballet’s
production of The Nutcracker at the Royal Opera
House in Covent Garden.
Mr Andrew Barker ARAD
Teacher of Ballet and Tutor Year 2 for IPS. Ballet Master York Scholars, qualified fitness and Pilates coach. He also teaches
students on remedial recovery and gives personal fitness and dietary advice to students by appointment.

Teacher of Jazz and specialist Boys’
Coach. Principal Dancer and Choreographer for
West End shows, Pop promos, Film and Television.
Internationally renowned teacher. Trained at the
London School of Contemporary Dance.
Mr Darren Charles
Teacher of Jazz, specialising in Commercial and
Musical Theatre. Performing worldwide, including
the West End. Television Dance credits include
the Royal Variety Show and the Brit Awards, Song
& Dance with Wayne Sleep, Fame and Notre Dame
de Paris. Extensive experience as a Choreographer,
including for his own company, he has also worked
with the Chinese in preparation of the 2008 Olympic
Games.
Mr Stuart Hayes
Teacher of Jazz. Trained at Performers College
and on graduating went straight into working on
TV shows such as Stars in the Eyes and the Royal
Variety Show. He has just finished assisting on
BBC1’s Last Choir Standing and will soon
start preparations for this year’s Children
in Need. Mr Hayes has worked worldwide with numerous
pop artists including Diana Ross, Kylie Minogue,
Spice Girls and George Michael and is always in
demand to lecture for both the IDTA and ISTD.

(TB) (MB) (NB), AIDTA (Ballet) – Exam Co-ordinator
Teacher of Jazz, Tap and Modern. Coach for the
Foundation Course. Year Tutor for Year 2. Performing
experience in Pantomimes, Ballet, Television and
Promotional work.

Teacher of Jazz. Miss Clayton has had a very
diverse career with credits including P&O
Cruises, pantomimes, ‘Mystique’, television
work, modelling and choreography for television
and theatre shows in the UK and Australia.

Miss Michelle Blair
Teacher of Musical Theatre Repertoire and Jazz.
Performer, Director and Choreographer. Performed
throughout the UK in theatre and television. Credits
include “Doctor Doolittle”, “Snoopy
the Musical” (insert) and “Carmen.
Mr Tom Ball AIDTA
Teacher of Jazz. Tom trained at SLP and gained a 3 year Musical Theatre diploma. Whilst at college he had the opportunity to take professional contracts in summer season and pantomimes around the north of England. This is when he first had the chance to work with choreography, choreographing pre-match entertainment and a touring theatre company. He graduated from college with a job in "Starlight Express" UK tour and has since been concentrating on his choreography and musical direction. Tom has had experience choreographing for commercial fashion and hair shows, television and theatre all over the country including London and also Paris.
